The organizers of The Future Awards 2010 have announced the second edition of the annual The Future Pre-Awards “Do Something” Conference. It holds on Saturday, 6 February 2009, a day before the awards night.

Nneka, the Nigerian sensation that brought us the hot album: “The Uncomfortable Truth ” partnered with award winning Dj J.Period to bless us with this new mixtape titled The Madness (Onye-Ala). Features on the tape include M-1 (Dead Prez), Jay Electronica, Zumbi (Zion I), Rakaa (Dilated Peoples), Aceyalone (Freestyle Fellowship),General Steele(Boot Camp Clik) & Talib Kweli.

Jonathan Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Obi Mbu also known as JaeCee Mbu is a young rapper based in Abuja and North London who is currently a first year student in the University of Sheffield. As a rapper his style is based on wordplay and punchlines and a distorted fast rhythmic delivery. He worked with Jesse Jagz in the summer of 2009 on various tracks; the tracks “Ready To Go” and “Temgbele” were produced by Jesse Jagz. He is currently juggling being a university student while working on his sophomore mix-tape Leader of the New School.

Phildizzle is a new Nigerian artiste. He grew up in Nigeria but is currently schooling in University of Cincinnati. He just made this new single called “Vibrate” .ft Madskillz and Rapon” He is currently working on a mixtape which will probably come out next month.
