MILITANT MUSIC: Duno throws some mud at MI, Modenine etc
American rapper 50cents was the first person that I heard using this style (on How To Rob) , he painted a picture of a frustrated MC that goes about robbing other rappers to survive; the style mixes crafty story telling with humor (although lots of the people referred to did not find the song funny). Nigeria’s Modenine came out with his version last year and lots of peeps didn’t find it funny either. Here’s Duno going down the same lane, taking quick jabs at Modenine, MI, Mo’Hits etc (The song was produced by Bigfoot). Made me laugh anyways. Listen, download and share…it’s worth a laugh or two.
