Two of Africa’s biggest emcee’s on the same track. HHP from South Africa and Naeto C from Nigeria both need no introduction to the African Hip-Hop scene. HHP who just won the Mtv award for Best Video, was in Nigeria to perform for the second time in his career at the MTV road to MAMA’s show in Lagos recently.  Before this he was here last year to perform at the 1st edition of the Mama’s.

HHP who has huge songs to his credit like “Music N Lights, “Mpitse” and “Jabba”, is a ten year veteran in the game, he has been a solid staple on the SA and African scene for years and has released several hit albums, HHP has transcended Hip Hop and is the creater of Motswako his own blend of Hip Hop. He has become an iconic figure and recently won Best Hip Hop Album at the SAMA 2008 awards and several other awards, this year he made history by performing at the CapeTown Jazz Festival. He is one of the biggest artists out of South Africa and has shared stages with International acts like Snoop Dogg & Asa. He has also performed at the Mama’s in 2008 and 2009.

Naeto C, who won the MTV award for Best New Act last year, was at the awards this year to present an award for best rnb, Naeto who was in South Africa to perform at the Nokia Face Of Africa last year and opening for R.Kelly at the Thisday Music Festival in Suncity, South Africa. This year alongside HHP he will be performing the new hit All Around The A featuring a group of African Hip Hop Superstars. Naeto has been on an award tour this year, he won the Soundcity Best Male Video and the Hip Hop World Award For Best Rap Single both for Kini Big Deal.

Naeto C popular for monster singles like Kini Big Deal & Ringtone, has a massive following in Nigeria, Ghana, Botswana, Kenya, South Africa and anywhere where quality music is appreciated. He is currently working on his second album, “Super C Season” and completing his Master’s Degree in Energy at The University Of Dundee. From being at all the award shows and performing at all these shows in each others countries, they have run into each other on a number of occasions. The two emcee’s blazed this joint which is going to be a summer banger in South Africa and Storm Records will push it out to the Nigerian Community.
