Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor adopted the name IllBliss while a member of the much talked about underground group THOROBREDS. Illbliss (aka dat ibo boy) was born in the eastern nigerian state of enugu. Acquired a Bsc. Hons in political science/international relations from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) where he met one of the country’s biggest RnB stars Obiwon and formed the group Coal Citys Finest (CCF).

IllBliss Graduated and relocated to Lagos, met up with Elajoe, B-Elect and Amaka to form Nigeria’s most critically acclaimed HipHop group known as the Thorobreds, behind massive radio hits like Streethop (which won the best hip hop song by a duo/group @ the Hiphop World Awards 2006), Make room, Ode to hip hop, to mention a few. He is currently working as a Projects & Marketing manager for a highly reputable television content production company in Lagos, Nigeria.

IllBliss has never lost focus when it came to releasing his own materials (even after being crowned by one of hip-hop’s great Nas and rubbing shoulders with some of hip-hop’s elite in Nigeria), and now he has released his much anticipated album titled “Dat Ibo Boy“, fresh off is a collaboration with Terry G on Aiye Po Gan.
