The votes are in. You have chosen. The 2009 edition of the HipHop World Awards has been concluded. Headies have been handed out (and in Omawumi’s case: A Car Key !). The well organised event was a huge success and the heavy downpour that was experienced earlier in the day did not dampen anyone’s mood for fun and merry making. Ace comedian Basket Mouth opened the show while Banky W. gave us a wonderful performance (a mix of EVERYBODY’s song). The other artistes that performed include MI, Omawumi, Kel, The Trybes Men (yes, they did) etc.
