Lagos stood still for Jude ‘ MI ‘ Abaga yesterday (2nd Nov. 2008) at his listening party held at Swe Bar and Lounge. MI is a multi talented and versatile Nigerian Producer/Rapper/Poet. The mind blowing event which was well attended showcased MI the producer and MI the artiste. Tjoe, Steve Babaeko, Obi Asika, Banky W, MP, The Rooftop MCs, Alhassan Mohammed, MAI, Chris Ihidero, Noble Igwe, Tosyn Bucknor, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Sista Soul, Diddy Moughalu, Etcetera, Dizzie are some of the faces that were present to usher in the new era in Nigerian music.

If you’ve never seen MI perform before, then you will not understand the magic that the ’short black boy with the very big -ish…’ weaves. The listening party was all wow! as the crowd swooned and got into the full groove. MI thrilled us all, switching between comedic takes, poetry and real life lessons. The album titled ‘Talk About It’ will drop on the 1st of December 2008.
