Lagos stood still for Jude ‘ MI ‘ Abaga yesterday (2nd Nov. 2008) at his listening party held at Swe Bar and Lounge. MI is a multi talented and versatile Nigerian Producer/Rapper/Poet. The mind blowing event which was well attended showcased MI the producer and MI the artiste.

I started when I was just a little kid, my dad is a minister (an evangelist); obviously I got around music so I’ve done everything musically. I played in the band,I’ve been a DJ, I sang in the choir,I’ve been a music manager, producer,an artiste, back up singer. I’ve done everything, but I started rap when I came back to Nigeria in 2003 and some of my friends like Jeremiah Gyang were into music and stuff like that

Kenule “Ken” Beeson Saro-Wiwa (October 10, 1941 – November 10, 1995) was a Nigerian author, television producer, and environmentalist. He was the son of Chief Jim Wiwa. Saro-Wiwa was a member of the Ogoni people, an ethnic minority whose homelands in the Niger Delta have been targeted for oil extraction since the 1950s.
